Application Process

The following information describes the application process for those seeking admission into the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine (LMU-CVM) class of 2019. We are no longer accepting applications for this cycle.

Step 1. Apply to LMU-CVM by completing the online application through the Veterinary Medical College Application Service (VMCAS)
Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine requires students to utilize VMCAS. The VMCAS online application is available online.  Go to VMCAS Online Portal (follow the instructions). The online application goes live June 5, 2014 at 1:00 Eastern Time. It must be completed in its entirety and submitted prior to 1pm Eastern Standard Time on October 2, 2014. Appropriate fees should be sent directly to VMCAS not to the LMU-CVM.
Students are encouraged to apply early in the admissions cycle to avoid online transmission congestion.  Incomplete application packages will not be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
Step 2. Complete the Online LMU-CVM Supplemental Application.
The online supplemental application must be completed in its entirety and submitted prior to 1pm Eastern Standard Time on October 16, 2014.
Incomplete application packages will not be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
Step 3. Submit your scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
All students must submit an official record of their GRE scores from the Educational Testing Service. Scores must be current within the last 3 years to be considered by the Admissions Committee. You can login to your GRE account following this link. https://mygre.ets.org/greweb/login/login.jsp.
Please have official GRE scores sent to Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine (Code 7576 Lincoln Memorial Univ Vet Med.) Sending your GRE scores to any other academic program at the University will not ensure that your scores are delivered to the LMU-CVM and may result in an incomplete application package.
GRE scores must be sent to LMU-CVM prior to October 16, 2014.  Incomplete application packages will not be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
Step 4. If Applicable:
Applicants who are currently taking classes or who are planning on taking classes must request that an updated official transcript be sent directly to LMU at the end of each completed semester/quarter.Fall transcripts are due no later than January 31, 2015.

Spring transcripts are due no later than June 30, 2015.
